What is going on here? And does anyone remember WHEN the Gardeners of Eden tried their hand at whittling sticks? And WHO are these people?! In fact, there are a couple of trees surviving still, bearing the unidentified varieties that were grafted that day. John is looking to Joan, who is pretty handy with a knife.
